Rabbi Avremi and Shaindy Schapiro provide spiritual leadership, oversee programs, and work closely with families and teens to create a warm and welcoming community.
Rabbi Avremi is a graduate of the Rabbinical College of America. Since he and Shaindy moved to Milwaukee in 2006, he has become the Executive Director of the Jewish Youth Foundation, the youth division for Lubavitch of Wisconsin and the parent organization of CTeen, Camp Gan Israel Milwaukee and CKids Camp Gan Israel Wisconsin. Rabbi Avremi's enthusiasm for creating new and fun ways to reach out to all Jews, are just part of what makes him a great director for CTeen!
Shaindy has been serving as a shlucha at Lubavitch of Wisconsin alongside her husband Rabbi Avremi since their move here in 2006. Teaching and working with children of all ages has been a passion of hers since high school. Shaindy’s knowledge, experience, and devotion to today’s children make her a great partner in running CTeen!

Adam Bilsky
Director of Development
Adam builds connections with parents, supporters and alumni, helping to grow resources and keep past participants engaged with the CTeen, Camp Gan Israel, and CKids Gan Israel Wisconsin communities. He holds a BS in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University and an MS in Public Service and Nonprofit Management from DePaul University.

Our interns conduct outreach, support programs, events, and bring fresh energy and ideas to the team.
Hi! We’re Mussi (from Coral Springs, Florida) and Leah (from Cincinatti, Ohio), and we’re so excited to be a part of CTeen MKE this year. We can’t wait to meet and get to know everyone, and dedicate ourselves to making this an amazing year! We have so many fun programs in store, but we want everyone to know that they are always welcome at the house- whether it be for a snack, or to just hang out, we’ve got you. Administrator
Misia manages the bookkeeping for CKids Gan Israel and CTeen and serves as Operations Manager for CKids Gan Israel. She helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, coordinating schedules, communication, and day-to-day operations.
